教学过程

Step1.Warming up

Sing a song:

  T: Boys and girls,let’s sing a song together.OK?

  Ss sing the song together.

T: What family members can you find in the song?

Ss try to say the words.

2.Play a game.(单词认读)

T:(课件)Look at these words, let’s help them find their masters.

  (图片与单词匹配,并请学生领读生一起拼读)

3.Revision:

T:(Mike头像)Hello,boys and girls. I’m Mike.

Do you remember my family?

a. (出示Mike’s family photo) This is my family. (Review: my family)

b. Look! This is my … (me)

  c. T: Who can be Mike and introduce his family?

    T: Hello, Mike.

    S1:Hello,Miss Zhu.

    T: Who’s this?

    S1: This is my father.

 (打招呼用Hi,Good morning等替换,让学生用句型:This is my…逐一介绍各人物。)

4. Read and act

  扮演Mike完整介绍自己家庭,复习story time内容。

Ask two students to act.)

Step2.Presentation and practice

1. New words

1. T: Look at Mike’s album, there’re another two photos. Who are they?

  This man is very old, he’s Mike’s father’s father. Who’s he?

Teach: grandpa (grand-pa-grandpa)

2. T: What about this woman? She’s Mike’s father’s mother.

Teach: grandma (grand-ma-grandma)

3. Learning tips:

In English, father’s father and mother’s father, we both call him grandpa. Father’s mother and mother’s mother, we both call her grandma.

2. Cartoon time

a. Leading-in

T:Look, this is Da Xiong’s family,this is Xiao Xin’s family, this is Xiao Wanzi’s family.Everyone has a happy family.What about Bobby and Sam? Let’s go and have a look.

(课件展示Cartoon time:Bobby and Sam)

T: Last time, Bobby introduced his sister Tina to his friend Sam. But Tina was afraid Sam. So she ran away. What will happen this time?

  Let’s watch Episode 4.

  Before watching , I have a question for you. Look, who are they?

(课件出示两个人物 Bobby’s mother Sam’s father)

2. Watch and answer.

Q: Who are they?

Teach: Bobby’s mother, Sam’s father

How do they introduce their family?

Bobby: This is my mother. (Emotion:happy)

Sam: This is my father. (Emotion:proud)

Read and answer.

T: (Bobby and his mother) They look very sacred, why?

Read the story by yourselves and try to answer this question.

A. They are scared of Sam.

B. They are scared of Sam’s father.

Try to read with your feeling.

T: What is Sam’s father thinking about? (How to eat/cook them)

  How to read this sentence?

Sam’s father: Good evening. (Emotion:terrible)

T: What about Bobby and his mum?

Bobby and his mum: Good evening. (Emotion:scared)

Try to find

T:Well done! Can you find out how many families are there in the story?

   Let’s watch the cartoon again, OK?

Ss watch the cartoon again and try to find.

Check the answers: Bobby’s family/Sam’s family/ Tadpole’s family.

T:What did the tadpole say?

Ss: This is my mother. (Emotion:lovely)

6.Try to think

T:Why they are so surprised? (They don’t look the same.)

拓展:Tadpole →frog

Look and match:找妈妈

Step3. Consolidation and summary

1. Read this story.

  a. Read after the tape.

  b. Read by yourselves.

c. Dub the cartoon.

2.Summary

a. 晚上,你怎样和你的爸爸妈妈问好?Good evening.

b. 你向同学介绍你的爷爷,会说:This is my grandpa.

c. 你向朋友介绍照片中的自己,会说:This is me.

d. 你向他人介绍自己的一家,会说:This is my family.

Step4.Homework

1. Act and recite the cartoon,

2. 找一找其它小时候与长大不同的小动物,试着用英语说说。
